Eligibility Criteria:

• Age Limit: Master: Age limited to 35 years; Age Limit: Master: PhD: 40 years
• Must meet the entry requirements for master’s and PhD candidates
• Must have completed at least a four-year bachelor’s degree for master’s, and at least Master for PhD
• Language Proficiency: IELTS not Mandatory. English Proficiency Certificate ok. Chinese-taught program: HSK 4 score report
• Duration: 2 to 3 years for Master’s students and 4 years for PhD students

Required Documents for Students?

1. Valid scanned copy of passport (September 2027)
2. Study Plan (minimum 1000 words) for PhD candidates; a potential supervisor must sign the study plan
3. Resume
4. Highest Degree Certificate notarized
5. Physical Examination Form valid within 6 months
6. Non-criminal record issued within the last 6 months
7. Academic Transcripts notarized
8. Proof of application payment of 400 RMB
9. Two recommendation letters from a previous university Professor or Associate professor

How to Apply?

1. Interested candidates create an account on the Guangxi Normal University website 
2. Log in to the university portal, enter all required information, scan documents, and pay the application fee of 400 RMB
3. The university reviews the application and documents. If the applicant passes the professional interview, the university gives the pre-admission notice
4. The applicant creates an account on the Chinese Government Scholarship CSC Portal and adds all required personal information, educational information, and scans of documents needed to add to the CSC portal
5. Chinese Government Scholarship form (Chinese or English)
6. GXNU pre-admission notices
7. Registration fee payment certificate
8. The application deadline is 31 January 2027. Applications after the deadline are not considered
